Quick Scan Pro - Barcode Scanner. Deal Finder. Money Saver. App Reviews

It’s okay.

I just downloaded Quick Scan Pro. I went around the house scanning everything that caught my eye. A lot of food items and some non-food items. It reads the codes extremely rapidly, but about half the items it shows “Not Found” even though it read the number correctly. For everything it can find, it shows an ad from Amazon, and fails to show local stores that carry the item, even when I know they do, because I bought the item locally. I only found one QR code as I walked around my house looking for things to scan. It read the code very quickly, opened the URL in it’s own browser, and offered to open it in Safari, but there was no option to open in Chrome, which is my preferred browser. Normally I’d use an app for a while before writing a review, but this one kept pestering me to write a review, so here I am.

Pretty cool!

When used at the top /Title area at top of a resume, it looks good, is pretty cool, is interesting and likely stands-out amidst tons of other resumes when youre applying for a job! However, I do have one caveat ~ ~ we need the ability to change info when creating a Contact qr code ~ specifically these two changes::::: #1). Ability to opt-out of using some of the preset areas that, by default, show up in the Contact info. Ie; slide to Delete that section (like we slide/delete on our iPhones when we slide/delete an email message or text message). #2). The ability to ADD more sections of info to our Contact QR Code! Would involve picking a blank template into your contact info area ----and for ALL sections to be able to be moved around - so we can custom re-order them on the Contact. Ie; we choose what shows 1st, 2nd, 3rd; etc. We choose the title for the area then get to type into the area, whatevs info we want to put in there. Lastly, we need the ability to be able to add a photograph or clipart (or both!) to every single section ~ including the blank templates that we can choose to have. Great for matching a face to a name when they can scan your code at the top of your resume, and see your contact info plus you business portrait photo! So - if QuickScan folks are actually reading these reviews, feel free to PM me - I can explain these ideas (as well as 3 more new ideas!

Spam galore

I thought that I was purchasing the pro version to get rid of spam and get more functionality. The only functionality that it gave me was to slow it down and have ads pop up continuously.
